Michigan State Parks Celebrate 90 years!

What a better way to celebrate than to join us for a FREE, FUN, 5 MILE RUN, WALK, HIKE, STROLL at Our own local jewel of a State Park, PINCKNEY RECREATION AREA.

A 3:00 pm summer afternoon event with a give-a-way raffle provided by our local sponsor RUNNING FIT, the store for walkers and runners.

What: A non competitive 5 mile outing on a marked trail through Michigan wilderness.
When: 3 PM, Saturday June 20th.
Where: Start and finish at Silver Lake Beach, Pinckney Recreation Area 734-426-2362
Why: To celebrate 90 years of this precious asset, Michigan State Parks

This is a FREE event! Won't you like to donate a small amount to help our state parks? Click here to donate online! Donations directed to Pinckney will be used to purchase basic park equipment such as tables, grills or fire rings. The sort of equipment everyone uses but doesn't notice until it's not there.
